It would only print default system fonts super crisp. I am a designer and I need to see tiny and large texts and lines, boxes crisp. None of my Quark, Adobe PDF, Illustrator would print crisp. Won't print crisp from MacOS- My first machine was replaced because it wouldn't print crisp even after selecting to print heavy. Thank you for your time in reading my review! The only negative is that the power cord is about one or two feet shorter than I like and should of come with at least with a USB printer cable. No real issues other than feeding it paper and toner! I print from my phone, tablets and laptops with no problems! Toner TN850 is fairly cheap and available at most stores eg: Sam's club or Costco. I enjoy the small footprint, especially the large paper box and the very reliable WIFI printing! This printer has been wonderful so far! I usually print large files and had no delays or issues due to the large ram chip that is in this machine.
Where as with the Laser toner my replacement is usually after 5000 pages or so. Setup is fairly easy and simple! With jet ink printing I had replace the ink after only a few hundred papers. My copies are just perfect and quick without the noise. I had gotten very tired of the high cost multi-colored jet-ink machines and no longer considered color as being important factor for most of my printing needs. I purchased this machine with one thing in mind, being a reliable and cheap operating printer. I would've given this printer 5 stars, but only if we didn't have these minor inconveniences. Sometimes we have to replace the drum to fix this issue. This happens occasionally, but it's still inconvenient to have to print a few times for that wrinkle not to appear. Also, when users print duplex, a wrinkle appears on the paper. This is not a huge issue, but it's just inconvenient. We're able to print more with the same toner until it really runs out. Luckily I figured out how to bypass that message and have taught my co-workers how to do it as well. The "replace toner" message appears and stops all print jobs. One issue we have is the toner supposedly runs out, BUT it really hasn't. I work in the IT department so I'm usually the person who hears complaints. That is why we have 8 of these HL-L6200DW printers in our LA and NJ office.
